Q: Why should I give?

 

A: As Christians, we believe that everything we have belongs to God.  The act of giving our time and our resources is an expression of thanksgiving for what He has given us, and an act of obedience. We are simply giving back to God what is already His.  God tells us in the Bible that He wants us to give regularly, generously, and sacrificially out of all He gives us – all as part of our worship of Him.  Not because God needs what we have, but because we need to give it.  What we do with what we have directs our heart.

 

Q: Is my giving secure and private?

 

A: Yes.  Your online or in-person giving is 100% secure and we do not share your information with anyone or any other organization.

Q: How do I make changes to my online giving account?

 

A:  To edit your account, login to your online account.  To update your profile, click the Account link at the top of the page.  To edit or update your scheduled donations, click the Giving Schedules tab to find the item you want to edit.  Click on the specific item you need to edit.  From this page you can pause, delete or edit your donation.

 

Q: Will I receive a donation receipt for tax purposes?

 

A: Yes.  If you wish to receive contribution tax credit for your cash donations please write your full name and address on your giving envelope.  If you have an online giving account, you can also download your giving statement online. Once you login, click the Download Statement link in the Giving History tab.

 

Q: What are my giving dollars used for?

 

A: Your gifts are used to fund God’s work through the ministry of Calvary.  Calvary currently has 2 services per week including the Wednesday small church service.  Men’s, Women’s, and Youth ministries are provided too.  There are many community and global outreach projects as well as other ministry opportunities too numerous to mention here.
